These traits can be obtained or strengthened by completing Lifestyle events, Activities events and Court positions. Those traits can be further reinforced with the final perk of each Lifestyle tree or as a result of Lifestyle Decisions.
Court type traits are only available if a character has been a courtier for at least 5 years. To obtain a level 1 trait they must have reached Grandeur Level 5. For a level 2 trait they must have reached Grandeur Level 8.
Lifestyle traits are based on the character’s lifestyle or culture. These traits can be obtained as a result of Lifestyle events, Activities events or Court positions and reinforced with the final perk of each Lifestyle trees.
A character can have up to 3 Personality traits and Health traits. These traits affect how much Stress a character receives and their ability to recover from certain diseases.
They also impact their overall reputation in the world, and how well people treat them. Some characters will only have one personality trait, and others will have more than 3.
Health traits lower a character’s health and can be spread from character to character through Diseases. These traits can be removed from a character by disabling the Show graphic diseases and injuries option in the settings menu.
