One occasion in my guitar enjoying bdays.in career that sticks within my brain was when a young child about age five approached the bandstand at a purpose were I was performing.
Through the years I had received quite a status as a adaptable musician who could enjoy several varieties of audio authentically; little did I am aware that this young boy was about to offer my reputation a bit of a serious battering.
While our band was playing the young lad went onstage and requested me if I could play "Happy Birthday"; I was active enjoying and said O.K. hoping that he could soon forget about this and the morning could proceed without the more demands from the small guy; this was not planning to function as the event!
Throughout the following class out from the corner of my vision I possibly could see the young boy heading for the bandstand and sure enough he requested me again once we were going to enjoy "Happy Birthday"; I answered 'soon' thinking he'll shortly tire of asking.
As the night time developed this small other produced a few trips to the bandstand every time I tried to steer clear of the expected; eventually he brought reinforcements with him (his small sister) "are you able to play "Pleased Birthday" for my small cousin?" he asked politely. At that time one of the band people recognized the litttle lady while the girl of the folks who had booked us.
