We have visited Cozumel, Mexico via cruise vessel many times and among the most popular Carnival shore expeditions is Chankanaab National Park. There is anything for anyone at this particular park. They give surfing, diving, adult and children's pools, swimming with dolphins, along with a really calming character trail. There is also clean bathrooms, a cafe and a gift shop. There's also a short part of the beach that is perfect for children. There is quite a neat ocean lion display for children.
The whole position didn't seem packed at all in June. A lot of places open on the beach and some have a palapa at number extra charge. We chose to attend the park on our personal and not book right via Carnival Cruise Excursions. The cab journey is just ten moments and the fee is $10 for a cab each way. Seaside chairs and umbrellas will also be provided with the price of admission. The existing entrance charge is $20.
The surfing at Chankanaab is merely breathtaking. The entrance to the water could be a little difficult as you go down stone steps in to the water, where there are a few pretty good waves. We considered some remarkable fish right away and the water was crystal clear. There's also some marine relics to see while diving or snorkeling. You are able to rent snorkel gear at the seaside for $10.
The type trail is excellent fun for anyone. There are many entrances to the path, but the key one is the better since it is surrounded by an amazing ocean pond. The pond has some incredible fish and is a few of the best water I've ever seen. You will dsicover many Iguanas and cozumel Mexico Geckos on your own hike. There also are some reliable Mayan ruins in addition to some reproductions. Tons of remarkable warm plants and flowers may greet you on your walk.
The park also provides a swimming with dolphins' package. Your get to pay over an hour in the water with the dolphins and then you can certainly go into the location where in fact the manatees are.You can not fail with this specific Carnival Shore tour. There will be a lot of team offered at the park to answer any issues and help you if necessary.
Positioned about 10 miles from the mainland, the warm paradise island of Cozumel is Mexico's biggest island. The island lies off the coast of the Yucatan peninsula in south-east Mexico and could be reached by one hour long ferry drive or by a small aircraft move from Cancun Airport.
